The Church began on the Day of Pentecost. On that day, three thousand souls were immersed into Christ for the forgiveness of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38) and the Lord added them to the number of disciples.

Our vision and mission is to help connect people to faith
South Side believes that the Bible is the final authority. Our desire is to spread the Good News and restoration of the Lord’s Church. We worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and welcome all as they are to join us.
Mission & Purpose
South Side is dedicated to the restoration of the Lord’s church
South Side Church of Christ is not part of any denomination, but simply refer to themselves as Christians. We believe a Christian can only be defined in the Bible. A Christian has a relationship with Jesus Christ and strives to follow the biblical example and live more like Christ each and every day. The standard for this restoration is the New Testament. And the Word of God is the basis for the unity among believers. Paul told the church at Ephesus to be “diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace”. He then listed out seven items that are the basis of this unity: “There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all” (Ephesians 4:1-6).

Join us every Sunday to take the Lord’s Supper and hear the Gospel. Once you hear the Gospel our Evangelist David Martin is always ready to Baptize by immersion.
Sunday Evening Service
Sundays@ 6:00pm
Anyone is welcome even those who attended Sunday morning. Evangelist David Martin will be serving the Lord’s Supper, sharing the Gospel, and Baptizing those ready to obey.
Bible Study and Prayer Group
wednesdays@ 6:00pm
Every Wednesday Evangelist David Martin will be teaching from the Bible with in depth study lessons. We also take the time to pray to our Lord for those in need.
